Welcome to Dave Connon & Associates cc trading as Money Matters SA. Dave Connon is qualified to help you with your Retirement Planning, Investments, Estate Planning and Risk Cover. If you are just starting with your retirement planning, or are about to retire, or have retired, Money Matters SA can help you save tax and obtain 1st class investment returns with their years of practical ex- perience in this field. With over 35 years practical experience we ensure your plan will be both theoretically sound and realistic. Money Matters SA is FSB registered (No 13562) and has an independent Compliance Officer. It is an indepen- dent financial planning practice started in May 1991, however Dave has been in the industry since February 1975. Dave is a Certified Financial Planner CFP® and passed his ILPA examinations in 1982, he is ALSA qualified by examination and is a qualifying and life member of MDRT. Many of our clients have been with us for over 25 years and we are now working with their children and almost all of our new clients are referred to us by satisfied clients. Many of these clients are women, whom we advise on types of marriage contracts, investments for widows and divorcees and financial planning for single parent families. As Dave is often consulting in his office, he has a support team of dedicated people who will endeavor to help you with any queries or problems you may have, in the first instances. Should they be unable to help they will then take the problem to Dave who will then have all the information relevant to your query and will be able to contact you with regards to the solution. All queries are dealt with by Dave or his team on a completely confidential basis. Please feel free to speak to any one of his staff if he is unavailable at first, so that the necessary files and information can be available to Dave, if they are unable to solve your query initially. Dave has qualified for many industry awards, addressed large groups, both as trainer and also as a guest speaker for various public organizations such as Jaycees, Rotary and several Chambers of Commerce. He also does talks for companies and groups, large and small, like the Industrial Nurses Association, Womens Guild, various church groups etc. If you know of anybody or group that would like a professional speaker on various financial subjects, please let us know. Financial Needs Analysis We use a sophisticated computer software programme which helps you plan your future with more certainty. The process consist of:- • Fact finding interview of about 30 to 40 minutes. We load all this information plus your policy schedule items. • 40 to 60 minute overhead presentation of your circumstances in the event of death, disability, retirement and dread disease. During this we can play "what if" scenarios e.g. retire earlier, retire on higher/ lower income etc. • A bound, professionally presented colour report on the whole analysis process. • Annual reviews to ensure ongoing adjustments and accuracy.
